Guardian life celebrates with credit union 10 August 2010
The Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union recently celebrated 40 years of existence as an institution facilitating economic enfranchisement. As part of its ruby celebration, a motorcade was held on the July 24th, 2010 which started from their Emerald City, Six Roads, St Philip Branch.
Over fifteen (15) custom made SUV`s made up the procession of this spectacular motorcade which made its way around the parish of St Philip. Guardian Life of the Caribbean’s mascot, Ms. Victoria Monerville, who was called the CoopLIFE Girl, assisted the Credit Union staffers with distributing tokens of appreciation and Guardian Life’s Product Questionnaire to participants, spectators and all other individuals. The Motorcade culminated after two hours, with a product fair and entertainment at the King George IV Memorial Park.
As a strategic partner of the Credit Union, Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited was provided with a booth which was manned by Mr. Derrick Garrett and Ms. Kammie Holder. Thanks to the Product Questionnaire Guardian Life’s booth was the most popular and through the kindness of Brown Sugar Restaurant, a dinner for two was offered for the first correct entry drawn from all completed Product Questionnaires.
A grand time was had by all!
